Evelyn Bliss, a recent graduate of Union-Allegheny Clarion Valley High in Pennsylvania and a Bucknell commit, captured a silver medal for the United States in the women's javelin throw final with a sixth-round performance of 173 feet (52.73m) at the Pan American U20 Championships at Jose A. Figueroa Freire Stadium in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.
